Totem Outdoor School Sessions

“The Plan”

Totem’s programs are ACTIVE.  Plan on a tired/dirty child at pick up.

We are outside most of the day, regardless of weather.

Our learning style is through actively using our 5 senses and Inquisitive Science-thinking, asking-researching/answering questions.

We will spend our day in the managed forest, old growth forest, 8 acre wetland, our greenhouse and sustainable gardens and at the Tolt riverbank.

Our programs cover; forestry, botany, ecology, biology, horticulture, geology, zoology and meteorology

Homeschool Classes

Offerings: Fridays 9:30-3:00pm

Spring 2025

  • February 28th-June 13th (16 classes for the session).
  • Fee: $1100.00/session or 4 payments of $300 due: 2/1, 3/1, 4/1, 5/1

Fall 2025

  • 13 week session September 12th-December 12th (No class November 27th).
  • Fee: $1000 for the full session payment due August 1, 2025 OR 3 payments of $350 due August 1, Sept 1 and Oct 1.  Siblings 10% off.  All supply fees, registration, insurance and tax are included.

Spring 2026

  • 15 week session March 6th-June 12th
  • Fee: $1200 for the full session payment due February 1, 2026 OR 4 payments of $350 due February 1, March 1, April 1 and May 1 2026. Siblings 10% off.  All supply fees, registration, insurance and tax are included.

Preschool Classes

For children ages 3-5 years.
Offering; Tuesday/Thursday 9:30-2:00pm (9-9:30 drop off)

Preschool Fall 2025

  • Sept 8-Dec 11th
  • Fee: $600x3 payments due 8/1, 9/1, 10/1 or $1700/session due 8/1

Preschool Spring 2026

  • March 3-June 11th
  • Fee: $600x4 payments due 2/1, 3/1, 4/1, 5/1 or $2200/session due 2/1

Summer Camp 2025

Camps are offered Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:30-3:00pm for kiddos ages 5-10 years.  (August 5-7th ages 5-12 years).  Fees: $325/week, $300 for additional weeks and siblings. Weeks offered:
July 15-17th (ages 5-10)
July 22-24th (ages 5-10)
July 29-31st  (ages 5-10)
August 5-7th (ages 5-12)
Full payment must be received for confirmation of enrollment.

Day Camps 2026

February 10, 2026 (Tuesday) 9:30-3:00pm  $100/day (siblings 10% off)
February 17, 2026 (Tuesday) 9:30-3:00pm $100/day (siblings 10% off)

Field Trips, Excursions and Parties

Offered to schools, clubs, scouts, parties, co-ops or groups for ages 4-11 or PreK to 5th grade.  2 1/2 hour block.

Many families have children in the gymnastics next door and find this place to be a wonderful place to attend. And I know petty, I’m a school teacher myself, lol.
